PM Modi says various authorities are working in sync to stop spread of COVID-19; 24x7 helplines launched by MEA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that various authorities are working in sync at different levels to ensure that COVID-19 does not spread. In a series of tweets, Mr Modi assured that no stone is being left unturned to ensure people are healthy.
Prime Minister said, doctors, nurses, and health care workers are putting great efforts to fight COVID-19 and this contribution will be cherished always. He stressed that it is being ensured that everyone is healthy and those showing symptoms get the proper care.
The Prime Minister stated that it is a united response from everyone and this shows the strong spirit of the nation in such situations. He also said that avoiding non-essential travel and minimizing social outings are welcome steps.
Ministry of External Affairs has opened 24x7 helplines for COVID-19. MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar in a tweet said, the toll-free number of the Control Room is 1800118797. Other numbers are 91- 11- 23012113, 91- 11- 23014104 and 91- 11- 23017905. The fax number is 91- 011- 23018158. People can also mail on the email ID
