AIR
In Madhya Pradesh, Governor Lalji Tandon today removed six ministers of state cabinet on the recommendation of Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

The ministers had already submitted their resignations to the Governor following the resignation of Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia from the Indian National Congress.

Mr. Kamal Nath had written to Governor seeking removal of the ministers on March 10.

An official release issued by Public Relations Department said that Imarati Devi, Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput, Mahendra Singh Sisodiya, Pradyumn Singh Tomar and Prabhuram Chaudhari were removed from the cabinet with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, former Union minister and BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia filed his nomination in Bhopal today for the March 26 Rajya Sabha elections.

Scindia reached the state Assembly secretariat from the state BJP office and submitted his papers to the returning officer, Vidhan Sabha principal secretary A P Singh.

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state BJP president V D Sharma, outgoing Rajya Sabha MP Prabhat Jha and other party BJP leaders were present on the occasion.

Today, another BJP candidate Dr. Sumer Singh Solanki and Phool Singh Baraiya of Congress also filed their nominations.
