Sharad Pawar rules out possibility of Madhya Pradesh-like coup in Maharashtra

@PawarSpeaks
NCP chief Sharad Pawar has ruled out the possibility of a Madhya Pradesh-like coup in Maharashtra. Mr. Pawar said Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena-NCP- Congress alliance government is doing well in the state and will complete its five-year term. He was speaking to reporters in Mumbai’s Vidhan Bhavan premises, after filing his nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election.

Talking about Jyotiraditya Scindia’s exit, Mr. Pawar said the former Congress leader wanted new responsibilities after his Lok Sabha defeat, adding that the grand old party’s culture does not allow such promotions.

Expressing concern about the state of India’s economy, Mr. Pawar said, Yes Bank crisis did not happen in a day and accused the finance minister of failing to detect the malpractices on time.
