Madhya Pradesh : At least 17 Congress legislators of the state have gone incommunicado

File Pic
In Madhya Pradesh, at least 17 Congress legislators of the state have gone incommunicado.

It appears as a fresh twist to the political crisis for Kamal Nath-led Government. Party sources claimed that all the MLAs including many ministers are loyal to the former Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia. Congress sources also said that party is trying to negotiate a compromise.

The development comes hours after Chief Minister Kamal Nath met Congress working president Sonia Gandhi to apprise her about the situation in the state.

After the meeting, Kamal Nath told to the reporters in New Delhi that he has discussed many issues with party president and will follow the instructions given by the Congress president.

The BJP state unit has maintained that the party had nothing to do with the developments.
