Harsh Vardhan visits Adarsh Nagar refugee camp

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan today visited a refugee camp at Adarsh Nagar in New Delhi.

The refugees felicitated Dr Harsh Vardhan for the passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill.

Addressing a gathering, the Minister said that the bill will be beneficial for the people who had been deprived of their rights for past several decades. He also expressed joy that a baby girl born at a refugee camp in the capital has been named “Nagarikta” and said it is the biggest tribute to Citizenship Amendment Bill and a wonderful present for Prime Minister Modi.
