Pak again violates ceasefire; resorts to indiscriminate firing in J&K's Poonch district

In another incident of ceasefire violation in border district of Poonch in Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir today, Pakistani troops again resorted to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing on Indian forward posts and civilian areas today.

Defence spokesperson told AIR Jammu correspondent that at around 11:45 today morning, Pakistan troops again initiated small arms firing and shelling with mortars in Krishna Ghati sector in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch. Indian troops guarding the borderline is retaliating befittingly. The exchange of fire was on, when reports last came in.

Earlier in the wee hours today, one army Jawan was martyred in the same sector when Pak troops violated ceasefire and fired indiscriminately on Indian forward posts.
