Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought ideas from the people for his speech on this Sunday at Houston in the United States.
In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he will refer to some of them during his remarks. He said, there is great enthusiasm towards the Howdy Modi programme in Houston.

He urged the people to express their thoughts on the special open forum on the NaMo application.

Mr Modi expressed delight that US President Donald Trump will join him in the India community programme at Houston.

Mr Modi on Monday said he is looking forward to join the Indian origin community in welcoming the US President at the programme.
Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today said, US President Donald Trump attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming Houston event in US is a great achievement of Indian-American community.

Speaking to reporters on first 100 days of his ministry, Mr Jaishankar said if today there is an event of this size and  President Trump coming there, it shows where that community has reached, how it is regarded in US and the respect it commands there.

He said, there is a strong link between domestic and foreign policy and the co-relation between national policy goals and foreign policy goals has become stronger.

Mr Jaishankar expressed hope to build a better, stronger neighbourhood.

He, however, said until the issue of cross border terrorism is successfully addressed and that neighbour becomes a normal neighbour that would remain a challenge.

The minister said, India has been very active in Africa in the last 100 days.
