Congress, NCP to fight together around 248 seats in Maharashtra

The Congress and Nationalist Congress Party will fight together around 248 seats and leave the remaining seats for smaller allies in the upcoming State Assembly polls.

Speaking to media persons in Mumbai, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that seats may be swapped based on consensus between the two major Opposition parties. He said that talks are also on the with the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi of Prakash Ambedkar, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana and Samajwadi Party.
