ED attaches immovable property worth over Rs. 109 crore in bank fraud by M/s Kudos Chemie limited

Enforcement Directorate, ED has provisionally attached the immovable properties worth over Rs. 109 crore in a bank fraud case by M/s Kudos Chemie limited. 

The attached assets belonging to the company consists of plots in Punjab and bungalow at Chandigarh. 

The agency initiated the investigation under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, on the basis of CBI’s FIR against the company and others for the offences of criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery of valuable securities.

Investigations revealed that Mr. Jitendra Singh, Managing Director of M/s. Kudos Chemie Limited had submitted 283 forged export bills to the Punjab National Bank and got it fraudulently discounted in connivance with officials of the PNB and causing loss to the bank to the tune of Rs. 362 crore .
