LS mandate opportunity for country to regain its place in world: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that people's mandate in Lok Sabha elections is an opportunity to make India a problem-free country.

Addressing a rally in Ahmedabad yesterday evening, Mr Modi said, this is a big opportunity to awaken people's conscience and take the country forward.

Prime Minister said, the mandate has given an opportunity to the country to regain its lost position in the world order and he has no doubt that we will achieve it. Mr Modi also urged BJP workers to remain humble after the landslide victory.

Prime Minister said that the next five years will be very crucial, both in the context of India and the world. And fortunately, the country is having a full majority government and support of strong NDA allies, he said.

Gujarat unit of BJP yesterday falicitated Mr Modi and BJP president Amit Shah in Ahmedabad following the massive victory in the polls. Prime Minister also met his mother at Gandhinagar to seek her blessings.
