Last mile delivery is hallmark of NDA govt, says PM Modi

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the last mile delivery is the hallmark of the NDA government. In a joint press conference in New Delhi in which BJP President Amit Shah was also present, Prime Minister said, this approach has created a new culture of governance in the country.

He said, the government has reached the last man in the queue. PM said, several ups and downs would have come but the people of the country always stood with him.

The Prime Minister said, he believes that it is India’s responsibility to take the power of this democracy to the world. Mr Modi said termed his election was spectacular and held in a positive manner. The Prime Minister said during his campaigning he thanked the countrymen for their blessings for the last five years.


Party President Amit Shah told media that  Narendra Modi led  government has implemented  133 schemes they have  touched every sections of the society in the country whether it is poor, farmers, women, villages or city. He further said, the government has enhanced the respect of the country all over the world and India has become a power centre in the globe.

The BJP President said, after a long time, the people of the country have seen a general election where inflation and corruption issues were missing. Mr Shah said Prime Minister addressed 142 public meetings in this election and has done four road shows.

To a question on Pragya Singh Thakur's candidature from Bhopal,  BJP President said, her candidature is a Satyagraha against a fake case of fake saffron terror. He alleged that Congress has compromised with the national security for vote bank politics. He said the Congress Chief should apologize for that.

On Pragya Singh Thakur's statement on Nathuram Godse, Mr Shah said, party has served her a show cause notice and asked her to reply within 10 days. After she files a reply, party's disciplinary committee will take appropriate action.

On the issue of Congress allegation on Rafale deal, Mr Shah denied any kind of corruption in the deal saying neither the  defence procurement procedure was compromised nor any kind of favourtism has been done.
