J&K: EC observers discuss issues pertaining to conduct of assembly polls in state

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Special Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India Vinod Zutshi, Noor Muhammad and A S Gill today met State Chief Secretary BVR Subrahamnyam, Home Secretary Shaleen Kabra and Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh at Jammu and held discussions on various administrative and security related issues pertaining to the conduct of Assembly Elections in the state.

Reaching Jammu yesterday, the EC observers had held deliberations with political parties,  various District Election Officers of Jammu region and the security agencies vis-à-vis’ holding of Assembly Elections in the state.
