Omar Abdullah meets Rajnath Singh, urges to ensure safety of Kashmiri students

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi and requested him to take all steps necessary to ensure Jammu remains calm.

In a tweet, Mr Abdullah said, he also requested Mr Singh to appoint a nodal officer in the Home Ministry to ensure the directive issued to states regarding safety of Kashmiri students is followed in letter and spirit.
