PM Modi says New India won't spare those targeting its soldiers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said each drop of tear shed after Pulwama terror attack will be avenged.

Continuing his tough talk in the wake of Thursday's ghastly terror attack on CRPF, Mr Modi made it clear that New India will not spare those who provide guns and bombs to target its soldiers.

Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating several development projects in Dhule in Maharashtra, Mr Modi said ours is a new India with new methods and policies, and the world will experience this now.

The Prime Minister said Indian troops have shown in the past how to hit the enemy and will spare no efforts in future as well. Mr Modi said this is a time of mourning and to show restrain and sensitivity adding that the government stands in solidarity with the bereaved families.
The Prime Minister also visited Yavatmal in Maharashtra today and launched several development projects there. Speaking at a rally in Pandharkawada, he said, the anger among people after the attack is well understood.

Modi said the sacrifice of CRPF personnel will not go in vain and the terrorists will be punished no matter where they hide.

Mr Modi said that security agencies have been given free hand to deal with the perpetrators and the jawans will take a decision on the time, place and the kind of punishment to be awarded to the perpetrators.

Launching a veiled attack against Pakistan, Prime Minister said terrorism is the second name of the neighbouring country.

A two- minute silence was observed during the rally to pay homage to the departed CRPF jawans.

Prime Minister handed over the house keys to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and flagged-off 'Humsafar Express' connecting Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune Train service through video link in Yavatmal.

Prime Minister inaugurated Lower Panazara Medium Project constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchan Yojana and laid the foundation stones of Sulwade Jamphal Kanoli Lift Irrigation Scheme and Dhule City Water Supply Scheme in Dhule.
