Use of US forces in Venezuela remains option: President Trump

FILE PIC
US President Donald Trump has said the use of US forces in the poverty-stricken Venezuela remains an option. He said the US will not negotiate with the Maduro regime because so many really horrible things have been happening in Venezuela.

During an interview President Trump revealed that he declined an invitation to meet Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro several months before recognizing Juan Guaido as the legitimate president of the country.

Mr. Trump has repeatedly warned that all options are on the table in Venezuela, as US ramps up the pressure on Maduro through economic sanctions and appeals to the country's armed forces to switch allegiances.
