Assam govt given skill development training to 75,000 youths last year

Assam government has given skill development training to 75 thousand youths last year. Participating in an AIR talk show,  Director of Assam Skill Development Mission AP Tiwari said, training to another 30 thousand youths to be completed in next 2 months.  

Mr Tiwari said that 495 training centres have been set up across the state to provide skill development trainings. He also said 11 Advance Training Institutes will also to be operatinalised soon.

He said that the North East Skill Centre to give trainings to 400 students after 3 to 4 months. Mr Tiwari said that a dedicated ITI is being set up for Divyangs in Dibrugarh.
