NSD Logo
In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan troops yet again violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian positions in Mendhar sector of Poonch.
According to Defence Spokesman, Pakistan troops targeted Indian forwards posts in Sona-Gail area of Mendhar sector in Poonch district around 4 pm using small arms fire and fired Mortars for shelling the area.
However, Indian troops guarding the Line of Control retaliated to Pak fire strongly and effectively. The firing between the two sides was going on when reports last came in. No damage was caused by Pak firing.
