Over 1 lakh youths offered job during skill summit in Ranchi

Over 1 lakh youths have been given jobs in the private sector during Global Skill Summit 2019 in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi. 

Governor Droupadi Murmu, Chief Minister Raghubar Das and other guests
handed over appointment letters to some skill-trained youth symbolically during the Summit on Thursday.

The chief minister said, Jharkhand became the first state to achieve the feat of giving jobs to over one lakh youths in the private sector. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present on the occasion. 

MoUs were also signed with many national and international organisations relating to skill development during the summit.

17 countries are taking part in the summit.
