Students, young people should imbibe ethical values : Vice President Venkaiah Naidu

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that the students and young people should imbibe ethical values and always remain committed to high morals. He said, students have to strive to preserve culture and protect nature to ensure a better future for the country.

Vice President was addressing a gathering of the students and teaching community at the birth centenary celebrations of the founder Principal of the Andhra Loyola College Fr. Theo Mathias SJ in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh today.

He said that Educational system of India should be redesigned to enhance the skills of the students to give them knowledge of life and make them suitable to face the challenges of life.

He also stressed on the need to make moral science a mandatory subject in educational institutions and create awareness on environmental sustainability among the youth.

Vice President said that India’s aim is inclusive and sustainable development and the path to reach this goal has to be cemented by the youth of the country.

He also addressed the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Rangaraya Medical College and Golden Jubilee of its old Students Association in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh today.
