Members of Sikh community meet PM Modi

Some members of Sikh community on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. 

Talking to media, Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal said, Prime Minister Modi appreciated the efforts made by the Sikh community to continue their fight regarding 1984 anti-Sikh riots. 

Mr. Badal alleged that Congress party utilized its power to cover up the probe in the riots and proof were altered to save the Congress leaders including Jagdish Tytler. 

Talking exclusively to AIR News, Bibi Jagdish Kaur whose husband and son were killed in the riots said, Prime Minister Modi met them just like a brother. She said she had a very good interaction with Mr. Modi. 

The eyewitness said that Prime Minister has assured that the government will do everything possible to punish the perpetrators of the anti-Sikh riots.
