President Kovind to be on a day visit to Gujarat

President Ramnath Kovind will be on a day visit to Gujarat tomorrow. He will visit the Statue of Unity - the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Kevadia Colony in Narmada district. 

The President will also visit various places like ‘Valley of Flowers’, ‘Wall of Unity’, ‘Museum and Exhibition Halls’ and others at the venue of Statue of Unity. 

During the visit, the President Kovind will be accompanied by  Governor of Gujarat Om Prakash Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal among others.

AIR correspondent reports that the venue of Statue of Unity will remain closed for the public tomorrow for security reasons.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today held a review meeting with Chief Secretary Dr. J. N. Singh and other senior officials of the State government in Gandhinagar in connection with the visit of President’s visit to Statue of Unity tomorrow.
