Malaysia to face Pakistan in Asian Champions Trophy at Muscat

In Men's Hockey, Malaysia will face Pakistan while Oman will meet Japan in their fifth and final round-robin match of the Asian Champions Trophy at Muscat, Oman tonight.

Malaysia-Pakistan match will begin at 8.20 p.m. and the other match between Oman and Japan at 10.40 p.m (Indian Time).

India defeated South Korea, 4-1 in their fifth and final round-robin match last night. Harmanpreet Singh netted a hat-trick for India, with Gurjant Singh being the other goal scorer. Lee Seungil scored South Korea's only goal.

The victory consolidated India's top spot in the 6-team table with 13 points from five matches - four wins and a draw. India had already secured a semi-final berth.  Along with India, Pakistan, Malaysia and Japan have also secured a place in the last-4 stage.

The final standings will be decided after the last two round-robin matches today. The semi-finals will be played on Saturday, with the Final slated for Sunday.
