In Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today paid floral tribute to veteran socialist leader Jayprakash Narayan in Patna.

In Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today paid  floral tribute to veteran socialist leader Jayprakash Narayan in Patna.

Later Governor went to Sitabdiara, an ancestaral village of Jai Prakash Narayan  and participated birthday celebrations.

Paying tribute to JP, Mr. Tandon said Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan had given a call for total revolution in 1974 to fight social discrimination and other evils gripping the society.

Union Minister Ravishankar Prasad visited Charkha Samiti in Patna and paid tribute to Lok Nayak Jayprakash Narayan.

He announced to give rupees 50 lakh from MP local area development fund for women training centre in Charkha Samiti for their skill development.

Mr. Prasad said JP always fought for social justice and his role during emergency period could not be forgotten.
