Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu embarks on three-day visit to the US

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has left for a three day visit to the United States of America today. He will address the special session of Indian diaspora at the 2nd World Hindu Congress at Chicago on Sunday.
 
The event has been organized on the eve of the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Historic Speech at the Parliament of the World's Religions in 1893. The 2nd World Hindu Congress is being held at Chicago from 7th to 9th September.
 
The Vice President will also participate in a programme organized by various Associations of Indian diaspora in United States at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago. He will also participate in bilateral discussions with several world leaders on the sidelines of the 2nd World Hindu Congress.
