Small batch of pilgrims leaves Baltal for Amarnath cave shrine

A small batch of pilgrims left Baltal base camp today for the Amarnath cave shrine.

So far over 2 lakh, 83 thousand pilgrims have paid obeisance since the commencement of the pilgrimage on June 28. 

Over 50 pilgrims, who had night halt at nearby stations, have paid obeisance since early morning today. 

The yatra would conclude on August 26 coinciding with Raksha Bandhan festival.
