Soil Health card has encouraged scientific use of fertilisers & nutrients


The Soil Health Card scheme was launched by the Centre in February 2015 for the welfare of farmers. Under the scheme, farmers get information regarding the status of their soil. The objective of the scheme is to aware farmers about the usage of appropriate amount of nutrients and fertilisers. AIR correspondent reports that Soil Health Card in the hands of farmers has changed the behaviour of farmers towards usage of fertilisers and nutrients.

Soil Health card is a guide and benefactor to the farmers and has encouraged scientific use of fertilisers and nutrients.
