BJP President Amit Shah to visit Jammu today

BJP National President Amit Shah, is on a one day visit to Jammu today to participate in various party programmes. He will attend the intellectuals’ seminar being held in connection with Martyrdom Day of former Jana Sangh Chief, Dr Shayama Prasad Mukherjee.
Party sources told AIR that the BJP president will take stock of the party’s functioning in the state. He will also review the political situation after the ending of the party’s coalition with PDP and subsequent imposing of Governor’s rule. He will also address a public rally at Chanakya Chowk Parade in Jammu city.
