PM Modi appeals citizen to devote some part of day towards fitness

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed every citizen of the country to devote some part of the day towards fitness. In a tweet, Mr Modi has also asked people to practice any set of exercises in which they are comfortable. He said, this will bring a positive difference in their life. Mr Modi also posted a video on social media about his morning exercises. He said, apart from Yoga, he walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or five elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. He said, this is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating.

Prime Minister said, he is delighted to nominate Karnataka’s Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for the Fitness Challenge. He also nominated the entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40 years.


Prime Minister also nominated the table tennis player Manika Batra, the highest medal winner for India in the Commonwealth Games -2018. He also nominated the entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40 years.
