India ready to deal with any challenge says, Defence Minister

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said, India is ready to deal with any challenge. Interacting with the journalists in Dehradun on Sunday, the Defence Minister stated that, India is very much cautious in dealing with Doklam issue. 

She said,  several new initiatives have been taken by Union government to modernize all the three defense forces. 

Earlier, Ms. Sitharaman felicitated 140 candidates selected for Indian Military Academy (IMA)  and National Defence Academy (NDA) between 2014 to 2018. 

She said,  government is always ready to give every assistance to the soldiers and their families. 

She announced to set up a command hospital with modern facilities in the mountainous region of Uttarakhand.
