One day salary of officers & employees of MSDECL contributed to CM Covid-19 Assistant Fund

A one day salary of officers and employees of MSDECL has been contributed to CM Covid-19 Assistant Fund.

Cheques of Rs. 5 crore 17 lakh 34 thousand 631 and Rs. 1 crore 2 Lakh handed over by Maharashtra Power Minister Dr. Nitin Raut to Chief Minister Udhhav Thackeray on Thursday at Sahyadri State Guest House in Mumbai.

Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Public Works Minister Ashok Chavan, Principal Secretary Energy Dinesh Waghmare, MSEDCL Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Singhal, Mahanirmiti Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khandare were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister has lauded that in this crisis of Covid-19, all officers and staff of MSDECL has contributed their one day salary in CMCAF is an example of sensitivity among society.

It is commendable too. “They have always been ready to keep the power supply intact and even in challenging situations”.

He said. Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund – Covid-19 is an independent bank account opened in State Bank of India ,Fort , Main branch.

CMCAF savings account number is 39239591720, Branch Code 00300 and IFSC CODE- SBIN000030.
