Centre provides more than 25.60 crore vaccine doses to States, UTs so far

Centre has so far provided more than 25 crore 60 lakh vaccine doses to the States and the Union Territories.

The vaccines have been provided both through the Centre’s free of cost channel and through the direct state procurement category.

Union Health Ministry has informed that so far over 24 crore 44 lakh doses of the vaccines have been consumed including the wastages.

It added that more than 1 crore 17 lakh COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs to be administered.

The Ministry said more than 38 lakh 21 thousand vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States & UTs within the next 3 days.
