Southwest monsoon reaches South Gujarat

The southwest monsoon reached South Gujarat with some parts of Valsad and Navsari districts received monsoon showers on Wednesday.

According to weather office, the Southwest monsoon further advanced into the entire Arabian Sea and some parts of South Gujarat on Wednesday.

Local weather office has predicted heavy rainfall in Valsad district and Saurashtra region during this week.

The Southwest monsoon has also covered entire Dadra Nagar Haveli.

The weather office has also issued warning for fisherman not to venture the sea till 13th June as the sea will remain rough along with wind velocity is expected to be 40 to 50 kilo meter per hour.
