Meghalaya govt revises entry-exit protocol for public

Meghalaya Government has revised the entry-exit protocol for the public. According to a new directive issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department, it is mandatory for all the people to register themselves prior to their travel at “Meghalaya Online COVID testing” and to download the Arogya Setu App and the Behavioral Change Management App of Meghalaya from Google play store.

RT-PCR testing is mandatory for all entrants to the state irrespective of whether they have a COVID-negative certificate. People who have the final vaccination certificate are exempted from testing. All persons tested by RT-PCR at the entry point should go for seven days home quarantine or paid quarantine regardless of the test results. Persons who enter and exit the state on the same day have to go through the testing and the results will be communicated to them, informed by the directives.
