Kolkata school provides online counseling for students affected by Covid-19

A school in Kolkata has come up with an online counseling facility for young students of the city who have been adversely affected by Covid-19.

In association with an organization for mental health, South Point High School is running the helpline named ‘Cheer Up’ from 9am to 6pm.

Principal of the school Rupa Sanyal Bhattacharjee told AIR News that they believe mental health is as important as physical health and that’s why the initiative has been taken to make the children feel happy, safe and not to be bowed down by the gloom brought in by the pandemic.
