Telangana govt extends ongoing lockdown till 19th June

Telangana government has extended the ongoing lockdown by another ten days till 19th of this month.

However, the state Cabinet which met Tuesday evening in Hyderabad, has decided to give relaxation from 6 A.M. to 5 P.M. during the lockdown and further one hour grace period till 6 P.M. for people to get back their destinations.

An official statement said the state police have been asked for strict enforcement of lockdown from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. next day.

The lockdown timings will remain unchanged from 6 A.M. to 1 P.M., with an hour grace period till 2 P.M. at some places where COVID-19 cases are still high.

The places include Sattupalli, Madhira, Nalond, Nagarjunasagar, Munugode, Devarakonda and Miryalaguda Asembly constituencies.
