Senior leader of BJP in Karnataka C M Udasi passes away in Bengaluru after prolonged illness

The senior leader of BJP in Karnataka C M Udasi passed away in Bengaluru today after a prolonged illness. He was 85 years old. A sitting MLA from Hangal in Haveri, Udasi was admitted to a private hospital due age related ailments where he passed away this afternoon.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has expressed condolences over the death of the parted leader. In his message, the Chief Minister has said that C M Udadi was a gentleman politician. The works he undertook as a PWD minister is noteworthy. He recalled the development work carried out by C M Udasi in his constituency. The Chief Minister has added that the state has lost a senior leader who was popular in Hangal and in the state. C M Udasi’s son C S Udasi is the Member of Parliament from Haveri.
