Terrorists shot dead Municipal Councilor in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district

In Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists shot dead a Municipal Councilor at Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district late last evening. J&K Police said that terrorists fired upon Rakesh Pandita in Tral and sustained critical injuries. Upon being taken to the nearby hospital, Rakesh Pandita succumbed to his grievous injuries. One lady has also received bullet injuries in the incident and has been admitted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the area was cordoned off by the security forces to nab the assailants.
