Madhya Pradesh registers 991 fresh cases of COVID-19

Madhya Pradesh reported below 1,000 corona cases on Wednesday, registering 991 fresh cases and 45 deaths while 4,113 Covid patients recovered from infection. The corona-positive rate reduced to 1.2 per cent.

AIR Correspondent reports that the number of active cases dropped to 17,136 in the state.  More than 20 new cases have been reported in four districts. Indore reported 338, Bhopal reported 191 while Jabalpur reported 83 and Gwalior reported 29 fresh covid cases.

Alirajpur reported no fresh case while Bhind, Harda and Mandala reported 1 positive case each. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed private hospitals in the state attached under Ayushman Bharat Yojana for free treatment to ensure best treatment to Covid patients.
