Health & welfare of students ‘topmost’ priority of govt: PM Modi on class 12 exam cancellation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that health and welfare of students is the topmost priority of his government. Replying to parents and teachers on Twitter yesterday, Mr Modi said, the teaching community has played an outstanding role during the last year. He applauded all the teachers for supporting the students and ensuring that the education journey continues under the new normal. He said, it has been a chaotic year for students.

On cancellation of Class 12th Board Exam, the Prime Minister said, in the current times, this was the best and most student-friendly decision. He said, the decision on Class 12th exam was taken after an extensive consultative process. Mr Modi said, government got several inputs from all over the nation, which were insightful and enabled it to take a student-friendly decision.
