National COVID-19 recovery rate further improves to 90.80 pct; 1.73 lakh new cases reported yesterday

The National Covid-19 recovery rate has further improved to 90.80 per cent. At 1.73 lakh daily new cases, the declining trend in new cases is being maintained. The daily new cases are the lowest in the last 45 days. In the last 24 hours, 3 thousand 617 deaths were reported. With this death toll due to the pandemic has reached 3 lakh 22 thousand 512.

Under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, 20.89 Crore Vaccine Doses have been administered so far. In the last 24 hours, over 30 lakh 62 thousand vaccine doses were administered.

Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR said, over 34 crore11 lakh 19 thousand samples were tested till yesterday. It said, over 20 lakh 80 thousand samples were tested yesterday.
