Northern Command Army Commander felicitates Mrs Dholi Devi, who inspires village to make vaccination drive a huge success

General Officer Commanding -in-Chief Northern Command,  Lt Gen YK Joshi visited Mrs Dholi Devi of village Gar Katiyas, in Tehsil Dudu of Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir, who has single-handedly inspired an entire village to make the COVID vaccination drive a huge success. Mrs Dholi Devi, who is 120 years old, is a living legend & epitomizes good health in a time in which even the young people are struggling to keep their immunity intact. To acknowledge inspirational act of Mrs Dholi Devi, increase awareness and to sensitize the civil population about the benefits of COVID vaccination drive, Northern Command Army Commander himself reached out & felicitated Mrs Dholi Devi, at her residence in the remote area of Dudu today.  The Army Commander also interacted with health care workers in the village and appreciated them for their selfless service to the people & their dedication in taking the COVID-19 vaccination drive to remotest areas in the UT of J&K.
