Madhya Pradesh: ‘Drive in vaccination’ starts in first drive-in cinema in Bhopal

In Madhya Pradesh, ‘Drive in vaccination’ has been started in first drive-in cinema in Bhopal. The Drive in Vaccination is being operated in the premises of State Tourism Corporation’s Hotel Lake View at Shyamala Hills in collaboration with the Health Department and UNICEF.

Meanwhile State on Saturday reported 12,379 fresh Covid cases and 102 fatalities, taking the tally of infections to 5,75,706 and the toll to 5,718. AIR correspondent reports, Medical Education Minister Mr Vishwas Sarang said that under the drive in vaccination, pre-registered citizens above 45 will be vaccinated from 5 pm to 8 pm daily.

Meanwhile, Covid positivity rate has declined to 20.3%. The state is now left with 88,511 active cases.  A total of 14,562 patients were recovered yesterday. Adequate supply of oxygen is being made in the state. The state is getting a quota of 589 MT of oxygen. 465 MT was received on 30 April, 489 MT oxygen supply received on May 1. A total of 58 new oxygen plants are being set up in all districts of the state.
