Bangladesh all out for 251 in first innings against Sri Lanka on Day 3 of 2nd Test

Bangladesh were all out for 251 in their first innings against Sri Lanka on Day Three of their second Test match at Pallekelle international stadium today.

Bangladesh lost seven wickets for just 37 runs in their first innings as Sri Lanka spinner Praveen Jayawickrama took six wickets on debut.

Though Bangladesh were 242 runs behind Lanka’s first innings total of 493 but the hosts did not enforce follow on and finished the day at 17 for two.

Earlier, Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal got dismissed on 92 and missed opportunity of scoring yet another century in the series.

Tamim in the first Test had scored 90 in the first innings and was unbeaten on 74 in the second innings as the game saw a forced end by rain.
