Maharashtra Govt to vaccinate all citizens between 18 to 44 years without any cost

Maharashtra Government has decided to vaccinate all the citizens between age group 18 to 44 years without any cost. This decision was taken unanimously in cabinet meeting. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has urged all citizens to register at Co-WIN portal to avoid rush at vaccination centers.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope has informed that the details of vaccination programme will be announced by 1st May. The state government is discussing with Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech and will try to procure maximum vials. But he clarified that citizens will have to pay for vaccination if they choose private vaccination centers.
