Telangana reported highest 43 deaths due to COVID on a single day

Telangana reported the highest 43 deaths due to COVID and other comorbidities on a single day, during the past 24 hours. State Covid Bulletin stated that the COVID related deaths in the state crossed Two thousand mark and reached to 2042.

With Six thousand, 551 fresh COVID-19 cases reporting on a single day, the number of COVID cases reported so far in the state also crossed 4 lakh mark. While the recovery rate further dipped to 83.16 per cent during the past 24 hours, Three thousand, 804 more people recovered from disease. This took the total recoveries in the state to over Three lakh, 34 thousand. The state has currently over 65 thousand active cases.

Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported over 24 hundred fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Nizamabad reported over and above 3 hundred cases each while many other districts reported over two hundred fresh cases each.

Meanwhile, over 60 thousand thousand people have been vaccinated on a single day yesterday. With this, over 40 lakh people have been vaccinated so far in the state.
