All-party meet today in Patna to discuss COVID-19 situation

In Bihar, an all-party meeting has been convened in Patna today to discuss the Covid-19 situation. This meeting will be chaired by Governor Phagu Chauhan. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has hinted at more restrictions in the state following the all-party meeting to break the chain of covid transmission. Mr Kumar said if the situation continues to deteriorate, strict measures may be taken.

Meanwhile, Six thousand 253 active cases of  Covid-19 were reported during 24 hours in the state and 45 deaths were also reported.
Secretariat of Bihar has been closed till April 25 following detection of 20 staff positive. Gyms, museums and sports complexes across the state have been closed till May 15 in view of pandemic.

Meanwhile 39 thousand 237 people were inoculated with Covid vaccine yesterday. Over 56 lakh 57 thousand 953 people have so far been vaccinated in the state.
