West Bengal Polls: Star campaigners of different parties hold roadshows

Union Minister and star campaigner of BJP, Smriti Irani today held three roadshows in Malda Town, English bazar and Malatipur of Malda district of West Bengal. While addressing a rally after the roadshow Smt. Irani said if the BJP government comes to power in Bengal each poor family with a girl child will get 50 thousand Rupees bond. She also assured 33% reservation in government service for the girls of the poor family.

Meanwhile, West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee  held a roadshow in Kolkata today. Starting from Gandhi Bhavan in Beleghata, the roadshow covered Beleghata, Jora shanko and maniktala constituency areas and culminated in Bowbazar. Senior Samajwadi party leader Jaya Bachchan along with TMC candidates of all three constituencies were also present in the roadshow.
