Health Department Kargil fully geared up to conduct Teeka Utsav

In Kargil Ladakh, Health Department Kargil is fully geared up to conduct the Teeka Utsav which is being organized across the country from tomorrow to fight against the surging COVID-19 cases. The mass vaccination programme will be conducted till 14th of this month.

In this connection CMO Kargil Dr Munnawar Hussain Conducted a Meeting of all the Block Medical Officers of the district and directed to conduct the Teeka Mahotsav with full dedication and missionary zeal.

While talking to our Correspondent Anayat Ali, Dr Ghulam Abbas District Immunization Officer Kargil said that it’s a big opportunity for those left out Beneficiary of Health Workers, Frontline Workers and Above 60 years old Beneficiaries.

He further said that health department has made arrangements of announcement about the Utsav through PA System announcing about the Vaccination Centres and urged upon all the Left out Beneficiaries to take the Vaccine positively to cover 100 % population.

He further said that the 2nd dose of the vaccine will be administered after 42 days of the first dose.
