Odisha COVID-19 active caseload further goes down to to 3,916

In Odisha, COVID-19 active caseload has further gone down to 3,916. The state’s current cumulative case tally stands at 3,20,394 as against a total recovery of 3,14,665.

Covid-19 in Odisha continues to experience significant shrinkage even as the days roll deeper into the winter. With daily case discovery on the downswing coupled with recovery on the upswing, the dreaded virus in the state has already taken a turnaround as of now. As for the last 24 hours, while Khordha district reported the day’s highest of 56 cases among 27 districts, as many as 15 districts came up with cases in single digit each. Also, the state reported 642 persons cured yesterday, that is almost double the number of persons who contacted the virus afresh.
